- Use wood, since it will hold some of the water. Linoleum would tend to have the color pool.
- For this process, I am using carbon paper to transfer the drawing to the wood. Toner would leave black on the background, making it tougher to see the colors I apply later.
- You can then cut your lines. (you won't want to tone the block, as it can interfere with your color later.)
