Some of these materials you will be able to purchase at the UC Bookstore, others you can purchase through the Print Studio and others you may choose to order online.  I have listed the prices for many of the items below for comparison

Paper Available through the Print studio

  • Thai kozo /  is a thin eastern styled paper for hand printing or press printing. ($30/10 pk)
  • Arnhem 1618 / is a thicker western styled paper. ($3.00/sheet) (10 shts from Blick w/Shipping would be $42.45)
  • Arches, Warm White / is a thicker western styled paper. ($3.00)
  • Hahnemuhle Ingres / is a good paper for bookbinding, and has a beautiful laid pattern. (Case binding) ($2.50/sheet)

Screen Materials /

Required Materials: -These can be purchased at Frame of Mind, (They will give a 15% student discount if you purchase all your printmaking supplies)
  • Screens will be available to check out through the print studio.
  • 1 Quart Speedball Photo Emulsion & Diazo (Frame of Mind: Emulsion $24.83 & Diazo $7.83)

From (Ace Hardware/Lowes/Home Depot)
  • 1 Roll of Duct tape 
  • 1 Roll of Clear packing tape
  • 1 roll of blue painters tape
  • 1 roll scotch tape (optional)
