Swan Song Class Portfolio / Final Project
The swan song is a metaphorical phrase for a final gesture, effort, or performance given just before death or retirement. (In this case, the end of the semester) The phrase refers to an ancient belief that swans sing a beautiful song just before their death, having been silent during most of their lifetime.
So this will be your final gesture, your printmaking opus.
I am NOT asking you to do a print with swans!!! and to be clear, I don't want to see prints of swans for the final.

Project parameters:
- Open theme / Your best work.
- Submit written proposal and 2 sketches in advance of beginning project.
- Image size: Minimum of 8"x 10"
- Paper Size: MUST BE 11"x 14" (EXACTLY!!!!). Docked 10 points if wrong size.
- Edition of 12 high quality prints on good quality print paper.
