When buying paper online, it often lists a GSM.
What does ‘GSM’ mean? The term ‘GSM’ simply stands for ‘Grams per Square Meter and is used for measuring paper weight. Put simply, if you were to take a 1m² piece of a certain type of paper, how much would it weigh in grams? So the higher the number, the thicker the paper. For example Arnhem 1618 comes in two weights, either 245 gsm (90 lb) or 320 gsm (120 lb) By comparison Thai Kozo is 35 gsm. Paper Available through the Print Studio /
