Jan 22- Introduction to course, materials & Introduce Project 1/Self Portrait show samples. Overview of Printmaking. Read Basics of Screenprinting handout.
WK 2/
Jan 27- Demo basics of Screenprinting. Short quiz on demo and Basics of screenprinting handout.
Jan 29- Show separation samples, halftones, hand drawing/lining up while drawing, acrylic & brush. Coat screens
WK 3/
Feb 3-Discussion on papers/ Demo: dyeing/spray paint/bubble paper & Print session.
Feb 5-Print Session & Intro Presentation on a printmaker (Select names) Due Mar. 10th.
WK 4/
Feb 10- Print Session & Intro to Project 2 / PPT: Protest or Propaganda (CHANGE: CRITIQUE HAS BEEN MOVED TO WEDNESDAY)
Feb 12- Project 1 due/Critique
WK 5/
Feb 17- Holiday-No Classes
Feb 19- Finish Critique & Demo: CMYK/Pin Registration. Ideas for Project 2 due. Show work by David Miles Lusk.

April 21- Print Trade Day for those interested. Have some extra prints you'd like to trade with, bring them in.
April 23-Meet at the Missoula Art Museum (335 North Pattee-Located behind Plonk or kiddy corner from the post office) at 10:45. To talk with Jason Clark about his exhibition and see additional print exhibitions.
WK 15/
April 28- Print Session
April 30- Final Portfolio due & Final mandatory class clean up. Return all materials, squeegees, registration pins.
The Print Studio will be closed to printing after our clean up.
WK 16/ FINALS WEEK
May 5-9 We will not be meeting, use this time to clear out your flat files, lockers and any prints left in the drying racks and remove your screens.
All lockers & flat files must be cleaned out no later than Sunday of Finals week. The print studio will be locked starting Monday. All items left behind will be tossed.
