WK 1/
Jan 18- Introduction to course, materials. Introduce Project 1.
WK 2/
Jan 23- Demo: Basics of Screenprinting; mixing emulsion, coating/shooting, registration and printing.
Jan 25- Demo: Halftones and printing like Andy Warhol. Introduce Artist Presentation (Presentations due Mar 9th).
WK 3/
Jan 30- Introduce Project 2 / West; First time screenprinters have first layer ready for printing (so I can assist you during class).
Feb 1- Curating prints & printing session.
WK 4/
Feb 6- Project 1 due/Critique. Review notes. T-Shirt printing session coming up on Feb 16 (this is optional)
Feb 8- WEST in-class printing session. (Have your screen & pre-mixed color ready to go PRIOR to class.

Feb 13- Visiting Artist Brian Kelly

WK 6/
Feb 20- President's Day Holiday- No Classes
Feb 22- Review prints.
WK 7/
Feb 27- Visiting Artist Marwin Begaye.

Mar 6- Introduce Project 4 / Pump up the Volume & review notes. & Print Session on KRHP.
Mar 8- Critique of KRHP.
WK 9/
Mar 13- Demo: Split fountains, mono typing, mixed media techniques (.Artist Presentations due to me today, you will present on Monday, March 28)
Mar 15-SGCI Conference / Jim Gone - Jason will be present to take over class.
WK 10/
Mar 20- SPRING BREAK
Mar 22- SPRING BREAK
WK 11/
Mar 27- Critique of KRHP. (Artist Presentations are now Optional or you can do it for extra credit-let me know if you are interested.)
Mar 29- Introduce Final project: ZACC Printfest Portfolio
WK 12/
Apr 3- Introduce Project 5 / Collaborative Writing Project. Discussion on Text based art, broadsides etc.
Apr 5- Critique of Pump up the Volume
WK 13/
Apr 10- Visiting Artist / Corwin Clairmont
Apr 12- Visiting Artist / Corwin Clairmont
WK 14/
Apr 17- PPT: Documenting Artwork
Apr 19- Print Session (You should have set up your second meeting with your collaborator)

May 1- In class: Image/Text Collaboration Due/critique
6:00 pm Meet & Greet with Creative Writing students & Reading Event @ 6:00 pm in print studio.
May 3- ZACC Printfest portfolio due & final mandatory class clean up.THE PRINT STUDIO WILL BE CLOSED TO PRINTING AFTER THE CLEAN UP.
WK 17/
Finals Week: We.won't be meeting, use this time to clear out your flat files, lockers and print racks, screens etc. All items must be out by noon on Monday following finals week. All materials left after that will be tossed.
